Privacy policy

This notice describes how personal data is processed when you visit this website.

The important part first: the ZUGFeRDig application processes your invoice data solely on your own machine. There is no user account and no server the application sends invoice, customer or turnover data to. This privacy notice therefore concerns visits to this website only.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is:

Name
Dr Dynamics Ltd
Company number
12361361
Place of registration
England and Wales
Registered office
13 Highgate Road, Woodley, Reading, Berkshire, RG5 3ND, United Kingdom
Directors
Roman Abylkhatov
Email
kim@drdynamics.co.uk

The provider is established in the United Kingdom. The UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply, and the EU GDPR applies in addition to the processing of data of individuals in the EU. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom, so transfers from the EU to the UK require no additional safeguards.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by a service provider:

Hosting provider:

Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps (Microsoft Corporation / Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.)

Server location:

Global — the Microsoft worldwide edge network (Azure Static Web Apps)

When you open the site, the provider automatically collects information your browser transmits (server log files): IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating-system identifiers. This data is technically necessary to deliver the site and to keep it stable and secure.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technically sound and secure operation of the website. Log data is not merged with other data sources.

3. Cookies

This website sets no cookies for advertising or tracking. Your colour-scheme choice and any consent to analytics are stored in your browser’s local storage. Those entries never leave your browser and are not transmitted to us. You can delete them at any time through your browser settings.

4. Analytics with Microsoft Clarity

If you have consented, we use Microsoft Clarity, a service of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA. Clarity records how visitors use this website — mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and page views — and presents it in aggregate and as session recordings. Your IP address and device and browser information may be transmitted to Microsoft and processed in the United States.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without your consent the script is not loaded. The transfer to the USA relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your details solely to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in answering enquiries. We delete enquiries once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.

6. Payment processing

We use external payment providers for licence purchases. When you begin a purchase you are taken to their pages; the payment details entered there are processed solely by those providers and are not passed to us in plain text.

  • Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland
  • PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for performance of the purchase contract. To determine the correct rate of VAT we additionally process your country and, for businesses, your VAT registration number; the legal basis for that is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. The providers’ own privacy terms apply in addition.

7. No processing by the application

The ZUGFeRDig desktop application stores company, customer, product and invoice data only in a local database inside your Windows user profile. Nothing is transmitted to us or to any third party. We have no access to that data and can neither view nor restore it. Backing it up is your responsibility.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights in relation to the controller:

  • Access to the data held about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

An informal message to the email address above is enough to exercise them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom, or the authority in your EU member state of residence.

9. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

10. Changes

We update this notice when the legal position or our processing changes. The version published on this page applies.

May we measure how this page is used?

We would use Microsoft Clarity to see which sections get read. That transfers usage data to Microsoft. Nothing loads without your agreement. Details in the privacy policy
